APPLICATION

Applying wallpaper to a wall can be a simple process if done correctly. Here are the general steps to follow:

1.      Prepare the wall: Make sure the wall is clean, smooth, and free from any dust or debris. Fill in any cracks or holes and sand the surface until it’s even.

2.      Measure the wall: Measure the height and width of the wall and cut the wallpaper accordingly. Add an extra inch or two to the length and width to allow for trimming.

3.      Apply the wallpaper adhesive: Use a paint roller or brush to apply the wallpaper adhesive to the back of the wallpaper. Make sure to apply enough adhesive, but not too much, as it can cause the wallpaper to bubble.

4.      Hang the wallpaper: Carefully align the wallpaper with the top of the wall and smooth it down, starting from the center and working your way outward. Use a wallpaper brush or smoothing tool to smooth out any bubbles or wrinkles.

5.      Trim the edges: Use a sharp Stanley knife to trim the excess wallpaper from the edges of the wall. Be careful not to cut into the wall itself.

6.      Repeat: Repeat the process for each strip of wallpaper, making sure to align the pattern correctly.
